Test Overview of Trendelenburg's Test
In Trendelenburg's Test,
the patient is in standing position, and is asked to lift one leg one at a time,
flexing the raised leg at both the knee and the hip.
The test is positive for weakness of the gluteus medius on the stance side
if the iliac crest (pelvic) rim of non-stance (lifted) leg fails to rise [Gear2009]
